I was looking for a way to display some vintage glass floats. Wood from the Koa tree would be my first choice – but it’s very expensive. For much less money this bowl with its’ wavy curve is close to perfect.

I love this salad bowl!
I was looking everywhere for the perfect salad bowl, and I was actually going to drop some $$$ on it. I went to Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, and Sur La Table looking for a bowl I loved, but was disappointed each time.
Finally I decided that I would just buy a cheap bowl on amazon and buy a fancier one down the road.
Well, to my surprise, this was actually the perfect bowl. It’s durable, there are no cracks or anything to worry about seeping or leaks, the size is great – holds about 7/8 servings in a normal sized bowl. It’s cute, the color is great, and there are matching salad hands you can buy separately that go perfectly.
I rarely write reviews unless something is incredible or absolutely horrible, but I am honestly so impressed. And also so happy that I didn’t spend $80 on a meh pottery barn bowl and ended up with this instead! It has easily become one of my favorite kitchen items.

Love this bowl. Looks great and it’s surprisingly sturdy. I use it to store fruit and things I don’t feel like putting away just then. I put them in the bowl, the wife see’s them and I’m assuming puts them away because they’re not there later and I can always find them where they belong. At first I thought the bowl might be magic but eventually I got a “talking to” about putting things in the bowl. So now it’s only a fruit bowl, not a super convenient magic putting things away for me bowl. Still a nice bowl though.
